Volunteer Job Opportunities

Sculptures on the Square 2010 0 Encore! has  opportunities for volunteers in two general areas.

Docent  Tour Leaders - Group and individual tours will be offered throughout the summer. Trained docents will lead these tours,  visiting each sculpture and providing information about the artist, his  inspiration and the process of creating the pieces. Tours will depart from the Sculpture Welcome Center at 138 East 7^th Street. Docents will receive training on the exhibit and will be able to  schedule tours as they are available. The only requirement is a willingness to  participate and a desire to share the excitement of this exhibit with our guests this  summer. Welcome Center Workers - Volunteer opportunities are available for individuals to assist with staffing the Sculpture Welcome Center at 138 East 7^th Street in Auburn. The Center will be open regularly during the summer and shifts of 2-4 hours  can be arranged to fit individual schedules. Volunteers will greet guests,  distribute brochures and provide information about the exhibit and the community. For more information contact Kathie Swaim at kswaim@locl.net or 260-868-5415
