  • Make a pledge for a donation next year
  • Wear your button and tell everyone you meet what it means; give them a Pledge Card and encourage a donation
  • Tell all your friends about the project and give then a Pledge Card; remind them how much fun the 2007 exhibit was
  • Tell your employer and give them a Business Pledge Card
  • Volunteer to make solicitations calls to local businesses. AAC will give you the materials, train you to make "the ask," and assign you places to visit.
  • Ask for a donation from your sorority, neighborhood group, church group, service club, fraternal organization or hobby club
  • If you belong to a group, ask them to sponsor a fundraising event and donate the money to the Sculpture Project (Ex. Sell chicken dinners, hold a party night)
  • Host a “house party” This can be as large or small as you want. Invite your friends, tell them it is to raise money for the Sculpture Project. It can be brunch, lunch, coffee hour after church, pool party, cocktail party, Bar-B-Que, dinner party, movie and snacks night etc. You are only limited by your imagination. If you want, the AAC will help you with planning, provide a speaker, give you materials to tell the story.
  • Encourage your children to get involved. Have a block carnival and donate the proceeds. They can do chores for people on the block and donate the money they earn.
  • Youth groups can have a fund raiser
  • School groups or classes can collect mone163034631_sculptures-6-07-008y
